Imagine crisp choux pastry filled with rich chocolate crème patissiere, a little space dust and topped with orange frosting and mini chocolate orange segments – that’s the Oompaloompa – the granddaddy of the éclair family. That’s just for starters we currently have around 25 flavours available and so many more just waiting to be unleased. (although we do have to limit ourselves on market day as they are all constructed fresh on the day.)
A trip to Eastern Europe in 2019 left us inspired by the intricate and imaginative French inspired patisserie that we had ever encountered. Lockdown followed in 2020, offering us the opportunity to get creative in the kitchen and what started as some fun has led us on this electric, eclectic journey.
We love an occasion, be assured we’ll have eclairs for all those important dates, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Birthdays, Christmas, weddings, post-match parties and of course our monthly stop at the Uddingston Food Market. Inspiration comes from far and wide, it’s sometimes erratic, often electric and generally a big bit eclectic!
